The Extract announces media partnership with the World CBD Awards 2022

The Extract and the World CBD Awards announced today that the companies have entered into a partnership. As the world’s largest CBD event, and the second World CBD Awards since 2019, the 2022 World CBD Awards will require extensive media coverage. The Extract, now one of their media partners, will ensure a reliable news source for everything related to the awards and the event.

The event will take place from the 12th until the 15th of July 2022, at the Fira Centre in Barcelona.

Since its inception, The Extract has covered breaking CBD-related news throughout the UK and the world over. As a dedicated and a leading CBD news website, The Extract also highlights groundbreaking CBD brands, scientific studies, and human interest stories. These credentials made The Extract the ideal media partner for the World CBD Awards in 2022.

“We’re honoured to partner with the World CBD Awards and provide media coverage for the awards and the event,” said David Hughes, CEO of The Extract. “We’re excited to be part of this prestigious event that recognises and rewards those who are making waves in this industry.”

In the months leading up to the World CBD Awards, the Extract will cover the list of sponsors, shining the spotlight on these pioneering CBD businesses. This acclaimed list includes Reakiro, Greenheart CBD, and Innocan Pharma – trailblazers in the world of CBD.

Additionally, the Extract will highlight essential event information – from location and itinerary, to any last-minute changes to the event. It will also keep readers and event attendees informed on sponsors, speakers, and all parties involved in the B2B expo.

At present, the list of speakers includes Hannah Deacon, the Executive Director of Maple Tree Consultancy who has a personal interest in medical cannabis accessibility in the UK due to her son, Alfie’s refractory epilepsy called PCDH19. Also presenting at the event is Dr Isaac Balbin, the founder of Parsl, a smart tracking company. Parsl focuses on traceability and accountability throughout the seed-to-sale process, emulating the “We Can Do Better” spirit of the 2022 World CBD Awards.

The awards will also acknowledge outstanding contributions to the CBD industry at the black-tie gala. Featuring category nominations such as Best CBD Device, Best Pet Range, and Most Charitable Company, these awards place emphasis on truly remarkable products and companies. The judging panel comprises third-party, external professionals – experts in their field for a thoroughly unbiased process.

Nominees can submit their applications by filling out the form available on the World CBD Awards website and paying the £50 application fee. Certain categories require samples, while others require video footage as supplementary evidence.

With three different ticket options available, the 2022 World CBD Awards is accessible to all. With choices of single, five-person, or ten-person bundles, attendees can enjoy either the full four-day experience or simply attend the full-day conference on the 14th of July 2022. Alternatively, attendees can opt for a free one-day event, which includes the B2B expo and networking evening.
