Poko in the running for a Beauty Bible Award 2021

Poko is delighted to be in the running for a Beauty Bible Award in 2021. For the 25th year in a row, the Beauty Bible Awards have provided beauty-lovers with much-needed guidance when it comes to all things skincare, haircare, make-up, and body care.

Buying and trying new products can be a lengthy process of trial and error. One that is perhaps made more difficult when retail outlets have been closed for a number of months. Being unable to see or feel products before you buy them certainly adds to the difficulty of this process.

Luckily, to determine the winners of the annual Beauty Bible Awards, over 1380 women step up and do all the hard work.

10 different women test each product and they use the product for months. Some skincare testers are even instructed to use the product on one side of their faces. This way, they have a direct comparison. Therefore, testers truly put each product to the test and they can provide in-depth and unbiased reviews.

On the 28th of April, the Beauty Bible organisers will announce the winners and the beauty industry waits with bated breath to see which products have stood out from the crowd.

Amongst the long list of entries this year, you’ll find well-known brands like Elemis and Dermalogica alongside impressive, natural beauty newcomers like Poko.

Poko is an Irish skincare brand that pairs CBD with natural plant extracts to create a vegan and cruelty-free skincare. Beauty Bible testers will be reviewing Poko’s Correcting Eye Cream as part of the Best Eye Treatment category.

What Does It Mean to Win at the Beauty Bible Awards, 2021?

With over 100 categories, there are thousands of entries each year. Each will undergo the same testing process to see which products come out on top.

The prestigious awards programme champions transparency and unbiased, authentic reviews from real people. Therefore, beauty-lovers all over the world have come to trust the results.

Beauty Bible founders, Jo Fairley and Sarah Stacey said, “To date, more than 30,000 women have been involved in real-life testing of products – making this the largest independent survey of beauty products anywhere in the world.”

Winning products are not just products that work, they’re products that have stood out from the vast competition. They’re products that have shown outstanding results for the majority of people.

Winning at the Beauty Bible Awards also holds a lot of weight in the beauty industry as the programme has become one of the largest independent testing programmes to date.
